Anyone like DR G MEDICAL EXAMINER?

It's a reality series, but as reality shows go it's not bad. This amazing woman is the Chief Medical Examiner of District 9, Orange County, which is Orlando, FL. If I could meet one celeb in person it would be her.

She is very down to earth, doesn't talk to anyone like idiots because hey we're not all medical examiners or even medical personnel. She explains how different systems of the body normally work vs what went wrong with her decedents. She has actually gotten calls from loved ones who thank her for treating their loved ones with dignity and respect as human beings in their last ever medical examination. She is divorced with two boys and remarried to a longtime friend, a pediatric surgeon, who sometimes participates on the show.

i only watch three shows on tv. they are dirty jobs, deadliest catch and Dr G. I love her sense of humor and her knowledgeable compassion.

Yeah, I love her! Like the first poster said she explains the things that are going wrong with the body and her personality is awesome! I would like to feel the insides some day. Um, that's because I can't see them...

Anyone know where she's gone since the Oprah Winfrey Network took over Discovery Health, I think it was? Is Dr. G still doing her show? I have totally no desire to watch Dr. Phil or romance movies on Oprah, no thank you.

I've been wondering the same thing. I really enjoyed the show. Some people criticised me for it because she works in the morgue, but I still find it very interesting.

I love that show. I barely watch TV these days, so I can't tell you what has happened to it, but she's amazing. I'd love to be a fly on the wall while she's doing an autopsy.

I love love Dr. G!! She's awesome! I'd really like to meet her as well..It's so cool cause I only live about 2 hours away from Orlando and I wish I could meet her.
As for where the Dr. show went the Discovery network has a channel called, "Discovery fit and health," I'd call your local cable or your tv provider to see if you have or can get that channel. I don't have the Discovery fit and health channel unfortunately! But my bf does but I don't live with him.

That's where I used to watch her show. However, it seems Oprah took it over, and I haven't seen the show since. I wonder if there are any places you can watch it online.

I also love that show!

By the way, it can now be found on what used to be known as "Fit TV"

Fit TV is now called "Discovery Fit and Health."

When "Discovery Health" became OWN, I was worried that I'd lose track of many exolent programs.

Most of them are on Fit and health now, a few are on OWN, and I've see nothers on TLC.

Hope this helps.

I didn't know the channel still existed...under a different name. I'll have to look that up. thanks for the info.

Thanks everyone...On www.msn.com it was revealed the Casey Anthony trial was in session (mom accused of murdering her little girl, 2 1/2 years old). The article spoke of Jan Garavaglia, the Chief Medical Examiner, who "once had her own reality show, Dr G Medical Examiner." Are the episodes on Fit TV recent or repeat? I checked my cable package and we don't have it. Perhaps she isn't making new episodes because of her testimony in this well publicized trial?

I like that show.
I like the way she describes everything that is going.
I would not want to touch the examed body sounds pretty creapy.
I would like to meet her some day.
I have not been able to watch that show for a long time but I would check if they have that show on my apple tv.

It's interesting that she can be so compassionate, yet she never lets her emotions get in the way of her job. I know it's required for a job of that nature, but I have a certain admiration for the people who can actually stick to it, no matter what the circumstances.

another thing i love about her is that when people are having arguments they are "having quarrellings." quarrellings is a very cool word. they have new ones on fit tv.

Yeah, I agree with the last poster! and, I didn't know they had new episodes man I wish I could get fitTv!
